The accommodation

The Tuinhuis, a two-person one-room apartment of 27 square meters, consists of a room with dining area, kitchenette and separate bathroom.

It’s located in the garden of a “rentier’s house” built in 1884. That’s how it went at the time: when a rich farmer had had enough, he handed over the business to his son and built himself a nice house in the village. Often – and that is also the case here – there is a row of these houses on the edge of the village.

The Tuinhuis doesn’t offer a breakfast service. In the well-equipped kitchenette, including a kettle, coffee maker and two-burner stove, you can prepare your own breakfast, lunch, picnic or dinner. There are three supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants and (fish) snack bars in the immediate vicinity (within cycling and car distance). Book a meal? At your request we are happy to book a table in one of the restaurants in the area.

Het Tuinhuis has two single beds of two meters long, which can be combined into a double bed (with connector piece between the mattresses).

The room has a separate space with shower, toilet and sink. Towels included.

There is a tv, radio and free wifi.

The Tuinhuis has its own independent entrance. If temperature permits, open the garden doors and enjoy the fresh air (garden furniture will be set up there when the weather is nice). The terrace cannot be seen from the main house, so you have complete privacy. You look out on the spacious garden.

There are two bicycles for rent. A charging point for an e-bike is on site.

Your dog is very welcome (please inform me in advance).

Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.

Arrival is between 4:00 and 9:30 pm. Departure is before 11 am. Of course some flexibility is possible in consultation.
